The high quality, made in the USA inserts are constructed out of brass, with an elastromeric expansion joint, mounted inside of the handlebar. They help to reduce the vibration of the bike that you feel through the handlebars. This reduction in vibration translates into less fatigue and numbness in your arms and hands. New for 2001, we have designed the inserts to now accommodate hand guards. The injected molded plastic end cap, along with the adapters will fit most hand guards that use either a counter bore or counter sunk mount.
